The new Mrs. Griffin

The day was beautiful...one of the best so far in this girl's short lifetime. It wasn't without mishaps though - my 'lost' contacts, the 'musical' delay when Matt was sweating bullets wondering whether I'd changed my mind, my wedding band falling thru the gazebo boards, forgetting my bouquet with the maid of honor when I walked out, and the back of the cake getting smashed up when the cake lady was delivering it. Not only do we have some great memories, and ones we can definitely laugh at later, the day simply wouldn't have been the same if it had been 'perfect.' Perfect is overrated anyway. Life isn't perfect...

My greatest memory of my wedding day is all of the family and friends surrounding me, helping me celebrate. That's the good stuff...

we watched the video my sister did, and she caught some of the cake-cutting. I busted out laughing, because we could hear you saying, "If they don't know me, I don't care, and if they do, then they'll understand!"

Thanks to you and Doogs and Jac for doing the deed. I know it fell apart on you, but it tasted fine! =)
